Many symptoms often present themselves whenever there is an issue with any component of the urinary system and one of them is feeling like urinating or that your bladder is still full just after you had urinated.

1. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

This is also known as an enlarged prostate and occurs when the size of the prostate gland increases, especially as men get older. Some of the common symptoms of this condition include a frequent urge to urinate, a weak stream of urine, and a feeling that the bladder is not empty after urination.

2. Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

Urinary tract infections are caused by bacteria or viruses that gain entry into the urinary tract, thereby causing infection. It affects women majorly, with some of its characteristics symptoms including a burning sensation during urination, frequent urge to urinate and the feeling that the bladder is not empty after urinating.

3. Prolapsed Bladder (Cystocele)

This refers to a condition in which the bladder drops from its normal position in the pelvis, thus pushing on the wall of the vagina. It is a medical condition that is exclusively limited to the female folk alone, with some of the symptoms including a feeling of fullness or pressure in the pelvis and vagina, feeling like the bladder is not empty after urinating, and problems starting urination.

These conditions would require medical attention but a healthy lifestyle may help to prevent or reduce the severity of their symptoms in many cases.
